Design that begins with how you live
AHU Interior is an interior design studio creating warm, considered spaces for homes and workplaces across India. We believe a well-designed interior should feel calm, personal and quietly luxurious — never staged.
Spaces should support the life within them
A home is not a showroom. It holds early mornings and late conversations, festivals and quiet weekdays, growing children and ageing parents. We design interiors that make room for all of it, with a calm backdrop that lets the people and the moments take centre stage.
Our work draws on contemporary design and on the warmth of Indian living — natural light, tactile materials, generous storage and spaces that welcome family and guests with equal ease.
Whether we are planning a single room or an entire home or workplace, the aim is the same: an interior that feels like it belongs to you.
Four principles that guide every project
- 01
Listening first
Every project begins with understanding how you live and work — your routines, your rituals and the things you love. The design grows from there, not from a template.
- 02
Timeless over trend
We favour proportion, natural materials and quiet detail over passing fashions, so your space still feels right years from now.
- 03
Material honesty
Stone, timber, linen and lime-washed plaster are chosen for how they feel, how they age and how they perform in Indian conditions.
- 04
Collaboration
We share our thinking openly, explain the choices we make and keep you involved at every stage — the best interiors are made together.

A palette that feels as good as it looks
We work with a restrained palette of natural materials — stone, timber, linen, textured plaster and living greenery — combined with careful lighting. The result is a space with depth and warmth that never feels busy.
Every project begins with a conversation
Tell us about your space, your plans and what matters most to you. We will explain how we work and how we could help — with no obligation.
Let’s create a space that feels like you
Tell us about your home or workspace. We’ll listen, ask the right questions, and suggest how we could shape it together.
